How And When Do I Terminate Child Support?

If you are paying child support to your ex spouse based on your divorce judgment, then you simply stop paying child support when the child reaches the age of 18 years and has finished high school.  However, if your wages are being garnished by child support services then you will need to do an Order to Show Cause to stop the child support.  If you do not do the Order to Show Cause, child support will continue to garnish your wages or your bank account.
