Yes, you can get your driving license back, as well as your trade licenses if these have also been suspended!  The way to do this is to file an Order to Show Cause to address the child support payments and the arrearages so that a payment plan can be established.  Once a payment plan is established, the licenses can be reissued.  Most people are unaware of the need to do an Order to Show Cause to determine arrearage amounts and set a payment plan.  The best case scenario is to make a payment plan that is realistic.  Remember, if your wages are being garnished  to pay for child support, you must do an Order to Show Cause when your child reaches the age of 18 years and completes high school.  If you don’t do this, the garnishment will continue!  This does not occur when your wages are not being garnished to pay child support.  In this case you would simply stop paying at the appropriate time.
