Paternity

Legal Action Workshop offers low flat fees for a Paternity Action.

When parents are not married, a paternity action is needed in order to legally determine the biological father of the child and establish custody, support and visitation for the child.  In our petition, we can ask for a paternity test if fatherhood is in question.  If not, we usually petition the court to establish custody, visitation and support for the child.

Paternity Test:

A paternity test would be necessary if fatherhood is questioned. Today, blood and DNA tests can determine paternity within 99.99 percent accuracy and can rule out paternity with 100 percent accuracy.

Legal Action Workshop can help either the mother or the father with a paternity action. In a paternity action, where one spouse responds to the paternity petition, our attorney-assisted method can still be used. We counsel the client, prepare necessary legal documents and can still represent the client in court under ‘limited scope’—all for low, flat fees.

We can also file your paternity action in any county in the state of California.

When you purchase our paternity action, here is what you get:

  • Consultation with one of our experienced attorneys who will advise you and answer your legal questions; you will also have additional conference time with the attorney, as needed, throughout the process.
  • Preparation of your paternity action.
  • We file your paternity action and serve the other parent.
  • If the parent does not file a response, we will ensure the completion of your paternity.

NOTE:To avoid a court appearance, you would require a judgment signed by both parties (Additional court and legal fees apply.) If the other parent files a response, we can still help you. (Additional flat fees will be required.)
