My husband has taken my son and refuses to give him back...what can I do?

It is very important to speak with the attorney as soon as possible so that the appropriate papers are filed and the husband is brought to court. Typically the attorney would file an exparte (emergency) order for child custody along with divorce papers. Your husband would be served and a court hearing for custody would take place in a short period of time.
