I was planning to file a lawsuit against a corporation, but since my company is a corporation also, apparently I cannot represent myself.
The terms of out agreement are clearly spelled out (either return products or pay in full 200 days after termination of agreement), and they have failed to pay me.
I have gathered all of the information needed, and even prepared the paperwork, but I need a lawyer to actually file the lawsuit.
Is there anything between full representation and limited scope representation?
I've unfortunately learned too late that this company has not paid others also. The few cases I have found against them never went to full trial.
The full amount they owe is $10,000.
Small claims is an option but corps cannot sue for more than $5000.00
I was hoping to do it myself...
