The Advantages of an Uncontested Divorce

Many people who are very wealthy opt for an amicable or uncontested Divorce.  They do this because they understand that it is very costly to fight in court–and also very public–so they choose to compromise and, in many cases, cut their losses.

Examples of uncontested or amicable celebrity Divorces are Jennifer Lopez & Mark Anthony, Demi Moore & Bruce Willis, Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Phillipe and the list goes on (refer to www.perezhilton.com & https://perezhilton.com/galleries/amicable-celebrity-divorces/?id=391875&pic=9#gallery.

In contrast, many people with very little money opt to fight in court. This often results in a loss of all savings or, once a retainer fee is used, loss of their Attorney. The Attorney will typically ‘sub-out’ of the case once  the client cannot pay another retainer fee.  The client will then be on his/her own.  In short, a contested Divorce is more costly, more time-consuming and more stressful.

The best way to handle a Divorce is to negotiate a reasonable settlement or, if this is not possible, go to court with an experienced Divorce Attorney who is willing to charge flat fees which will limit your cost.  The Flat Fee alternative works for most people.

L.A.W. (Legal Action Workshop) offers a flat fee alternative to the hourly / retainer rates that most Divorce Lawyers charge.  With a flat fee system, your Divorce will be affordable and you will also have the advantage of an experienced Attorney for advice & oversight.  For more information call us at 1-800-HELP-444 (1-800-435-7444) or visit www.LegalActionWorkshopLAW.com .
